| Vietnamese BIG 2 card game |
At the beginning of a new game, each player is given 13 cards. The winner of the previous game (or a random player chosen by the server) starts a round with any valid big2 card set (to be described shortly). All players then take turn to play a higher card set or "Pass" to skip the turn. This continue until 3 players "Pass". The remaining player then starts a new round with any valid big2 card set. The game ends when one of the player runs out of cards.
You can play when in a round even if you have "Pass" previously.
Legal big2 card sets and value
A big2 card set can be either of the following:
Single: one card
Pair: 2 cards of the same rank
Triple: 3 cards of the same rank
Straight: 5 cards forming a consecutive sequence
Flush: 5 cards of the same suit
Full House: 3 cards of the same rank and 2 other cards of the same rank
Quadro: 4 cards of the same rank and an arbitrary card
Straight Flush: 5 cards of the same suit forming a consecutive sequence.
In big2, the ranks of the cards in increasing value are 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K A 2. A card of higher rank is better than a card of lower rank. Among cards of the same rank, a card of higher suit is better. The suits of the cards in increasing value are Diamond, Club, Heart, Spade.
Please note that A2345 and 23456 are NOT valid big2 straights, where as JQKA2 is a valid straight.
Card sets of the same type are compared as followed:
For full house, use the rank of the triple
For quadro, use the rank of the 4 same-rank cards
For flush, use the rank of the biggest card. If the two biggest cards in the sets are equal, the next biggest cards are compared, and so on.
For all others, use the biggest card in the set
Valid card sets of 5 different cards are compared according to poker rule, which straight the smallest, then flush, full house, quadro, and straight flush is the biggest.
Card sets of different sizes are not comparable. You cannot play a triple to beat a pair, for example.

Old old, but addictive. It's an old Qbasic dos game where two gorilla's threw exploding bananas at one another. You had to input your "speed" and "angle" before the throw was made. You can do a search on google and find a newer Windows version Gorilla 2 the return and see for your self. I would really like to play this on my Dell Axim X5 Pocket PC.
